What We Believe;

We believe that there is only one true and living God. He is the creator and ruler of all things, seen and unseen.

We believe that God exists as a Trinity. Three people of one substance. This Trinity consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Son, also known as Jesus, came to earth in the form of a man, on a dual nature, Fully God and Fully Man.

We believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and suffered and died on the cross to provide atonement.

We believe that Jesus did not stay dead, but was resurrected. He ascended to Heaven where he waits at the right hand of the God interceding for us.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the gift of the Father and was sent by upon his ascension.

We believe that the Bible to be the inspired and infallible word of God. It is unchanging and guides us. We accept it as it is, 66 books, broken into two categories. There are other inspired writings, but they do not hold the weight of scripture.

We believe that eternal life in Heaven is part of the reward for the righteous. We believe that eternal separation from the presence of God ending with Hell are the wages of the persistently wicked. (Matt.25:46, Psalm 9:17, Rev 21:7-8)

We believe that Jesus shed his blood for the remission of sin, for the regeneration of sinners and salvation. (Romans 3:25,1 John 3:5-10, Eph 2:1-10)

We believe in the scriptural doctrine of justification by faith alone. We are saved by grace through faith. (Romans 5:1)

We believe that the shed blood of Christ also provides for the cleansing of our sinful nature.(1 John 1:7-10)

We believe in sanctification. Sanctification begins at salvation and ends in Heaven. It is a crisis and process. There is a definite starting moment and then it is followed by a life long growth in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available today and that it is usually but not always accompanied by speaking in other tongues.

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus also provides for divine healing.(Isa. 53:4-5, Matt.8:16-17, Mark 16:14-18, James 5:14-16)

We believe in the imminent pre-millennial return of Jesus. (1 Thess. 4:15-17, Titus 2:13, 2 Peter 3:10-14)

We believe that it is the responsibility of every believer to fulfill the Great Commission found in Mark 16:15-20.
